Favorite thing to build and why: My favorite thing the build in Minecraft is Egyptian style towns and buildings. This is because I really enjoy the style and the way sandstone blocks look with a variation of different blocks. I also enjoy building hidden rooms within my builds to give it some excitement when being explored.
IRL hobbies: My IRL hobbies include playing minecraft, starcraft 2, and mess around with code (java, C#, etc.), and every now and then go for a nice jog and work out.
Occupation: Currently a college student in the biochemistry department!

Ancient Egypt (:]) : I actually wrote a research paper on this topic about the Ancient God Ra. Ra is the sun god. He was the most important God to the Ancient Egyptians because he provide all of the light and warmth necessary for life. The Ancient Egyptians also believed that the reason it got dark at night was because He was "swallowed" by the Sky Goddess, Nut. And the sun rising the next morning was Ra being reborn.

Most of the major projects on the server are built around the texture pack John Smith. It's not a requirement to install or use it, but odds are good that the server will look much better if you use the same texture pack that the moderators are using.

In order to use this texture pack, you need to download MCPatcher, and John Smith. There are installation instructions included in the zip file.
