Favorite thing to build and why: Structures. I was a Civil Engineering major in college (and a LEGO user growing up) so I've always enjoyed building random stuff.

Pick one of the following topics, and tell us something about it - Ancient Egypt, Famous Pianists, Nuclear Physics: Famous pianist Victor Borge is famous for not only his wizardry on the keys, but for his excellent humor. He would incorporate various styles of humor into his act, including play-on-word, playing sheet music upside-down, having guest accompany him and mocking them, and the list goes on. My favorite bit he did was when he took the simple Happy Birthday song, and restructured it into the styling of famous composers (Debussy, Mozart to name a few).

Most of the major projects on the server are built around the texture pack John Smith. It's not a requirement to install or use it, but odds are good that the server will look much better if you use the same texture pack that the moderators are using.

In order to use this texture pack, you need to download MCPatcher, and John Smith. There are installation instructions included in the zip file.
