MC user name: pipsqueak1988
Age: 23
Country: United States of America
Languages: English only.
Favorite thing to build and why: I really enjoy working with redstone. I am studying to become a Computer Engineer and I like making functional buildings. My largest accomplishment to date is creating a lock with a seven digit pin number that auto resets if an incorrect entry is made. As of 1.0 it is broken, but fixable.

IRL hobbies: Building/repairing computers, programming, spending time with my girlfriend, drawing, gaming, maintaining my personal servers.

Occupation: Senior Game Advisor for Gamestop Inc.

Pick one of the following topics, and tell us something about it - Ancient Egypt, Famous Pianists, Nuclear Physics: I wish to discuss Nuclear Physics. Although I am not personally a connoisseur of physics. I do find fission to be a very unstable, dangerous, and unpredictable concept. Destroying particles to create energy is a dangerous and foolish path for humanity to go down. Although fusion is also dangerous. I do feel that creating new particles is definitely a better way to create energy and electricity, as the newly created particles can be used for other applications.

I would also like to include something from Google:

If light nuclei are forced together, they will fuse with a yield of energy because the mass of the combination will be less than the sum of the masses of the individual nuclei. If the combined nuclear mass is less than that of iron at the peak of the binding energy curve, then the nuclear particles will be more tightly bound than they were in the lighter nuclei, and that decrease in mass comes off in the form of energy according to the Einstein relationship. For elements heavier than iron, fission will yield energy.

You've been added to the white list! Please view our server and forum rules HERE. If you'd like to join our Mumble server, the information is...
vx38.commandchannel.com
31493

The server address for the Minecraft server is...
ahnaris.mossycobble.com

Most of the major projects on the server are built around the texture pack John Smith. It's not a requirement to install or use it, but odds are good that the server will look much better if you use the same texture pack that the moderators are using.

In order to use this texture pack, you need to download MCPatcher, and John Smith. There are installation instructions included in the zip file.

I am locking this topic to prevent spam. If you have any issues, please send any OP (our names are in black) a PM and we will do our best to help you out.
