Nuclear Physics:
The CERN has just recently organised a press conference presenting the results of their search after the Higgs-boson. This hypothetical particle would explain why particles have mass. After countless of tests (millions) in which two beams of super accelerated protons collide, only a few indicate that the Higgs-boson would exist. I would have hoped that this recent publication of results would provide a more definite conclusion because our standard model of particle physics depends on it.

CERN scientists expect that further testing, next year, with the large hadron collider will result in more concrete evidence. On the other hand, physicists have been looking for the Higgs-boson for nearly half a century. With the percentage of tests that have produced agreeable results so far, say one in a million, this ratio will only remain the same after more tests and might still not produce a definite answer.

Most of the major projects on the server are built around the texture pack John Smith. It's not a requirement to install or use it, but odds are good that the server will look much better if you use the same texture pack that the moderators are using.

In order to use this texture pack, you need to download MCPatcher, and John Smith. There are installation instructions included in the zip file.
